Lions Club
The Rittman Lions Club has been one of Rittman's premier service organizations since it was initially formed. The club has done many community service projects over the years, including funding and installing the public notice sign in front of City Hall and building a pedestrian bridge at Martin Fritz Park.
The club's main emphasis is providing glasses, hearing aids, and assistance with seeing eye dogs for the visually and hearing impaired. For several years, the club has sponsored a golf outing for the Blind Golfers Association as a fund raiser for that organization.
The club has about 25 members and meets the first Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. Currently, the meetings are being held at the BG's Main Event (124 S. Main St.). All guests and potential members are welcome to attend.
