IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM RITA 

As a reminder, the City of Rittman joined the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) on July 1, 2021. 

Please call RITA for any tax questions at (800) 860-7482. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Thank you

RITA will start their extended phone hours beginning March 21st, 2022, and also provide their drive through/drop off service. Please see below, from RITA, the call center schedule, their Drive-up/Drop-off schedule and an explanation of their Drive-up/Drop-off services.

TAX SEASON DRIVE-UP/DROP-OFF DAYS BEGIN APRIL 11th 

We will once again offer Drive-up/Drop-off service in our Brecksville location only (10107 Brecksville Rd, Brecksville, OH 44141 and between the hours of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm on the following dates:

  • Monday, April 11th through Friday, April 15th
  • Monday, April 18th 

What is Drive-up/Drop-off service?

Without leaving their car, individuals can pull in and hand their completed return or uncompleted tax documents to a RITA representative. Even if tax documents are unfinished, a RITA agent will complete them for the taxpayer.

  • Drive-up: RITA agents will be on-site at the Brecksville location to accept tax returns and/or support documents. Taxpayers will be directed to a park in a reserved spot when they pull into the Brecksville location.
  • Drop-off: The RITA agent will ask the individual questions and take their tax  documents. Taxpayers will receive a receipt of their submission.
