NEWEST UPDATE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

As we all are doing our best to protect our residents and staff, we are CLOSING City Hall operations until March 31, 2020. Only essential staff will be working. We graciously thank you for your patience and understanding. We are doing our very best to help avert this national crisis.

Please note, all Service related emergencies will be handled and our limited staff of essential employees will monitor our Waste Water and Water plants. Police and Fire Safety Services will operate as they always do, with care and compassion.

Rittman is an amazing community and your safety is of the utmost importance to each of us.

IN RESPONSE TO CORONAVIRUS CONCERNS, THE CITY OF RITTMAN IS INSTITUTING THE FOLLOWING POLICIES:

1) EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY CITY HALL WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. PLEASE MAKE PAYMENTS ONLINE, MAIL OR USE THE DROP BOX.

2) EFFECTIVE MARCH 17, 2020 ALL FEES, CREDIT CARD AND CHECKS, WILL BE WAIVED IF PAYMENTS ARE MADE ONLINE THROUGH PSN -
866-917-7368 OR AT WWW.RITTMAN.COM.

Dear Patrons of the Rittman Recreation Center,
Due to Governor DeWine’s orders on 3/12/2020 on mass gatherings and public safety, effective immediately the Rittman Recreation Center will close until further notice.

As you are aware, the Rittman Recreation Center is a polling location for our residents. Voting will occur as planned at the Recreation Center on Tuesday, 3/17/2020. On Wednesday, 3/18/2020 a sanitizing company will be present to sterilize the Recreation Center.

For any programs or parties which you have already paid for, refunds will be issued. Also, we will extend memberships by three weeks.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience however your health and safety are of the utmost importance to all of us.

As a reminder, there will be no water shut offs until further notice but please pay your bills online. We have removed all fees associated with online bill paying.

As a result of the Governor's order to close all playgrounds, we implore you to follow this order. This is not just for your safety, but for our entire community's safety. Let's all do our part to beat this virus so we can return to our vital lives as soon as possible. Please stay off benches and picnic tables in our parks and keep your physical distance when out getting exercise.
